Your opportunity to travel through the heart of the Norfolk Broads over a 2, 3 or 4 day period without ever needing your car!
Norwich is 90 minutes from London Liverpool Street, we can either collect you from Norwich station and deliver you to your first nights accommodation* or just catch a local train to Wroxham were we can arrange your first nights bed and breakfast before starting your adventure the following morning.
You can leave London at 4pm on a Friday afternoon and be settled into your accommodation by 7pm, ready to start a two day canoe trail the following morning and be back in London by Sunday evening.

You will be collected from your B&B by your canoe guide and transported to the upper reaches of the River Bure. You will receive a full safety briefing and be equipped for the day ahead. Once on the water you will be given instruction in the mystical art of Canoeing! The rest of the day will be spent winding your way down the beautiful waterways until reaching Coltishall which is the stop over point for your second night. There is a short walk from the finish point back to the B&B. Here you will be greeted by your hosts for a relaxing evening. Day 1 paddle is a 5 - 6 hour paddle and includes 4 portages.
After a relaxed breakfast and a short walk you will return to your canoes and continue the paddle downstream. You will reach your second destination in good time to allow you to explore probably the busiest village in the Broads - Wroxham. You need to be ready to leave Wroxham by 4pm for the minibus to take you back to your B&B.
After a good breakfast you will paddle on a further stretch of water. We shall collect you from the B&B and take you back to Wroxham to continue on your journey to your final destination. Here you can either finish your break or spend another night relaxing night in the B&B. You need to be at Horning by 4pm ready for the minibus to collect you and take you back to your B&B.
Please note - due to the popularity of this canoe trail and availability of B&B's the logistics may change slightly but we will inform of you this. Initially, please email us to check availability of the dates you require.
There can be a reduction for children in family rooms.
Included in costs is canoe hire, transport and an introduction to the art of canoeing on day one. These trails require a minimum of 2 people.
A guide can be provided to accompany you on your trip for an additional cost of £100 per day.
As far as routes etc. full details are provided upon receipt of a booking form and deposit whether that's for the canoe hire or to join a guided / unguided trail.
